QC Laboratory Manager

Walker Cole International is seeking a QC Laboratory Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation based in the South West of England. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to lead laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and quality in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities as the QC Laboratory Manager:

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, including scheduling, workflow, and prioritisation of testing to meet production demands.
• Manage and mentor the QC team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 17025, and internal quality standards in all laboratory activities and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the laboratory.

To be successful in your application for the QC Laboratory Manager position, you will have the following expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of EU/UK GMP regulations and their application in quality control environments.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with proficiency in quality management software.
