Validation Manager

Walker Cole International is searching for a Validation Manager to join an industry-leading Cell Therapy Biotech in the Netherlands.

As the Validation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Validation function for the manufacturing and laboratory equipment and computer systems are completed, in accordance with GMP requirements.

Your responsibilities as the Validation Manager will be: 

• Manage and ensure Validation Master Plans, protocols and procedures are established.
• Identify validation requirements and build and maintain validation plans.
• Executing validation protocols for equipment in a manufacturing and laboratory setting
• Point of contact with external stakeholders and project teams to ensure activities that require specialist knowledge.
• Author DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and reports for validation purposes.

To be a successful candidate for the Validation Manager role:

• Batchelors or Masters (Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar)
• Experience of validating manufacturing/laboratory equipment, including the generation of lifecycle documents (DQ, IQ, OQ & PQ) in a biopharmaceutical setting
• Experience leading validation activities within the biopharmaceutical (ATMP sector preferred)
• Proven track record of establishing validation master plans (VMPs).
