Head of Supply Chain

Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Supply Chain to join a European pharmaceutical company based in the South East of England. As the Head of Supply Chain, you will oversee UK supply chain operations, contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) and distribution service organisation (3PL & 4PL) partnerships.

Responsibilities of the Head of Supply Chain:

• Lead, develop and implement manufacturing and demand planning short and long-term forecasting.
• Manage UK supply chain operations including external pharmaceutical manufacturing activities.
• As the Head of Supply Chain, you lead inventory management and distribution of finished goods to UK customers.
• As part of the UK leadership team, you will support and partner with manufacturing, commercial and R&D teams.
• Manage a team of Supply Chain professionals based in the UK.

To be the successful applicant for the Head of Supply Chain,

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Industry experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or GMP compliant sectors
• Strategic supply chain management experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Previous experience of SAP, JDE or Oracle is highly desirable.
