Quality Director

Walker Cole International is supporting one of its clients in their search for a Quality Director. They have 3 sites based across the United Kingdom, and this position can be located on a hybrid basis out of any of them. 

Your responsibilities as the Quality Director will be:

• Develop and implement a Quality strategy aligned with the business's vision
• You will be accountable for compliance with the legal requirements of the Manufacturers/Importers Authorisation (MIA), Wholesale Dealers Authorisation (WDA), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
• Oversee a Quality team based across multiple sites encompassing both permanent and contract employees.
• As the GXP expert, you will advise the board on quality matters for the company's future plans

The successful candidate for the Senior Quality Director will demonstrate the following:

• Senior strategic and operational experience in the pharmaceutical quality 
• Strong people management expertise, leading across multiple functional areas
• Extensive Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
• Qualified Person status would be desirable
