Scientist II

Walker Cole is searching for an experienced Scientist to join a pioneering Gene therapy business in London.

As a Scientist, you will be part of the vector development department tasked with executing vector platform innovation ensuring the business stays on the leading edge of Gene Therapy Research.

Further responsibilities as a Scientist include:

• Oversee Vector production to support Pre-clinical studies
• Lead on Vector engineering projects, including vector design, optimisation, development 
• Execute analytical testing and assay optimisation to support in vitro/in vivo projects
• Mentor junior scientists

The successful Scientist will have:

• PhD or equivalent experience in industry 
• Deep knowledge of Viral Vector development and engineering 
• Strong molecular biology experience (PCR, DNA prep, WES)
