Director of QA Operations

Walker Cole International is searching for a Director of QA Operations to join an exciting Pharmaceutical business in Hertfordshire. As the Director of QA Operations, you will manage the QA functions across multiple sites and execute QP/RP duties when required. 

Your responsibilities as the Director of QA Operations will be:

• To perform the duties of the Qualified Person and Responsible Person to ensure release of the products across commercial and clinical portfolios. 
• To oversee Quality Assurance activities across multiple sites in the UK. 
• To liaise with regulatory authorities and act as the primary contact for all inspections and audits.
• To promote a culture of Quality excellence and drive continuous improvement changes within the business. 

The successful candidate for the Director of QA Operations position will demonstrate the following:

• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance roles within the Pharmaceutical industry, with on-site manufacturing experience preferred. 
• The qualifications and experience required to be a named QP and RP on the license.
• Extensive experience managing and leading teams within the Pharmaceutical industry.
• The desire to drive change and be a role model within the business for quality.
