Quality Director

Walker Cole International is searching for a Quality Assurance Director to join an well-established Pharmaceutical business in the North-East. As the Quality Assurance Director, you will oversee both QA and QC functions on a large-scale manufacturing facility to ensure GMDP compliance. 

Your responsibilities as the Quality Assurance Director you will:

• Be a part of the Site Leadership Team with responsibility over Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for the site
• Identify, remediate, and escalate any compliance issues as required to the broader Regional arm of the business
• Support, develop and train members of the QA/QC teams at all levels to drive a strong quality culture
• Manage and oversee the site's QMS to ensure an effective system is in place.

The successful candidate for the Quality Assurance Director position will demonstrate the following:

• Extensive experience in Quality leadership roles within the Pharmaceutical industry, with on-site manufacturing experience preferred. 
• Extensive experience managing and leading teams multiple teams within the Pharmaceutical industry.
• The desire to drive change and be a role model within the business for quality.
