Vice President of Business Development

Walker Cole International is partnering with a biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation to appoint a Vice President of Business Development. The Vice President of Business Development will identify contract manufacturing opportunities with biopharmaceutical and biologics clients.

Responsibilities as the Vice President of Business Development:

• Establish and complete contract manufacturing business deals.
• Drive global, co-ordinated business development activities.
• End-to-end business development including first contact to clients, evaluation of opportunities and negotiate contract terms.
• Lead strategic partnerships for licensing opportunities with biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with marketing, technical and manufacturing leaders to ensure new client prospects can be achieved.
• As the Vice President of Business Development, you will work closely with Marketing and Inside Sales teams to act on competitor intelligence and lead generation.

Requirements for the Vice President of Business Development:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Life Sciences.
• Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical or ATMP industry experience.
• Proven Business Development track record including deal sheet.
• Technical experience of fee for service or licensing deals.
